Employee Profile

I have been working at PT Harapan Sawit Lestari since September 1996. I started my career as a daily worker. In January 1997, I got promoted to a permanent position as a junior staff member. A year later, I was promoted to plant administration, and in May 2001, I became plant administration assistant.

My career continued and I received regular promotions such as to general affairs assistant in December 2002, then to assistant logistic manager and supervisor for port operations in December 2005. My most recent promotion was in November 2008 to my current position as palm product logistics coordinator.

During my career with Cargill, I have had great support from the company and received many opportunities to enhance my skills, including broadening my knowledge and competencies in management and specific functions. Cargill allows me to participate in training and seminars to help me develop and realize my potential.

At Cargill, I feel very fairly treated. I come from the local community in Manis Mata. I feel that I have the same opportunity to develop my career as any other employee. Also, with Cargill there are no restrictions for my personal activities within the community and for my faith.
