Employee Profile

I joined Cargill in 1998 in Medan, Indonesia. At that time, Cargill had only four people there, so I became the fifth team member. Over the years, I performed a wide variety of job duties including office administration, commercial support and operational tasks like handling incoming shipments of crude palm oil to our storage facilities in Belawan and Dumai.

Time has really flown by, and without really realizing it I have now been with the company for 18 years. My current role is site manager of our copra crushing facility in Amurang. It’s been a long journey with Cargill, and it’s been a good journey. I really appreciate working for Cargill, because the company gives me and my team plenty of opportunities to move forward and continually progress. I also like Cargill because it is a very responsible and highly ethical company. From my own experience and observation, there are only a few companies that behave as well as Cargill
